The Perfect Martini Gin

Project Overview

This commercial for Wonderbird Gin was designed to express the craft and clarity of the perfect martini. Guided by a confident voiceover, the spot moves with intention—clean, simple, and distilled. The storytelling mirrors the product itself: elegant, minimal, and built with precision.

Production Design

We built a refined tabletop set focused entirely on product and pour. The environment was shaped to control reflections, surfaces, and light. A high-resolution virtual backdrop added atmosphere while maintaining full creative control without needing a full set build.

The bottle was placed on a motorized turntable to introduce movement without distraction, and glassware and garnish were styled to highlight purity and restraint.

Cinematography

We used macro lenses to emphasize detail—from the smooth contours of the bottle to the shimmer of the martini pour. Every shot was designed to draw the viewer closer. Lighting was carefully sculpted to bring out material texture while maintaining soft falloff and minimal specular blowout.

The result is clean without feeling clinical, and luxurious without relying on visual excess.

Voiceover & Editorial

The voiceover provides a clear narrative spine for the spot, leading the viewer through each stage of the ritual. The script matches the visual rhythm—short, confident, and focused. The edit leans into this structure, letting movement and sound design breathe between moments.

Each element reinforces the core idea: less is more, and every step matters.

Outcome

This is a commercial built around control, clarity, and taste. Using macro photography, set design, a virtual background, and a focused voiceover performance, the final piece captures the essence of Wonderbird Gin—Southern craft, modern confidence, and elegance with nothing wasted.
